Here at MSP Design Group, we use a range of materials to create the custom swag our customers need to expand the profile of their businesses. With a focus on using only the highest quality materials while still maintaining affordability for our customers, our products are a winning solution for a range of industries and events. Here are a few of the main materials used in our products.

Cotton

When looking at the most commonly used materials used in our products, cotton is certainly at the top of the list. Cotton is one of the best materials for a few reasons. For starters, it is comfortable and soft against the skin making it ideal for shirts. It is also made to get softer over time without losing the integrity of the material. Cotton is also easy to care for with simple machine washable instructions. This material is also well suited to receiving dyes and screen prints for promotional items, as well as embroidery as needed. Cotton can be seen in everything from our shirts and towels to our organic cotton tote bags.

Polyester

When looking at the materials used in our products, polyester is another stand out resource. Polyester is ideal for apparel because it is soft without being weak for a long-lasting choice. It is also well suited to more active apparel intended to have moisture-wicking properties. Since many of our polos and shirts for customizing offer moisture-wicking to keep you cool and dry on the hottest days, polyester is the natural choice. It is lightweight, breathable, and easy to care for which makes it a great choice for your next batch of shirts. Polyester is also machine washable to keep care easy and hassle-free.

Blends

When it comes to our materials, you will also find blends. A blend takes two materials and blends them together to bring out the best in both materials. For instance, a cotton and polyester blend retains all the breathability of polyester and the softness of cotton into one blend. Blends can vary in how much of each material is used so you may have shirts that are a 50/50 blend of cotton and polyester or one that is a 70/30 polyester cotton blend. In the case of the latter, the end result will feature more of the properties of the fabric with the higher percentage in the blend. Most blends are easy to care for with simple machine washing care instructions and are also long-lasting when cared for properly.

Vinyl

We also use our fair share of vinyl for our products. Vinyl is another versatile material with a long shelf life when cared for properly. Vinyl can be seen in a range of products such as magnets, window clings, vinyl bags, and more. This material comes in a range of colors and can be modeled into just about anything for your promotional needs.

Aluminum

We also use aluminum for items calling for metal such as tools, reusable water bottles, and more. This metal is lightweight so it won’t weigh you down or cost a fortune, but it is also incredibly sturdy all things considered for the best of both worlds. Aluminum is resistant to rust and scratch proof which makes it perfect for a long-lasting item sporting your company logo. This metal also holds inks and graphics well to keep your brand at the center of the product for years.

Eco-friendly

The environment is an important concern when choosing materials. We aim to use many eco-friendly materials to help lighten the burden on our planet as much as possible. Many of the materials listed above are eco-friendly such as organic cotton and aluminum, but we also use other materials as well. For instance, we have items made from recycled materials to help reduce the impact on the planet as well as organic items to cut down the use of pesticides. We also offer items such as bamboo coasters, natural wood coasters, and stone paper made from stones and other natural items to cut down on the trees used for traditional paper goods. Eco-friendly materials are a great way to safeguard the planet while still getting your brand the recognition it deserves.

We use a ton of different materials in our promotional products since we custom create everything from common items like shirts and reusable water bottles to more unique custom swag like organic lip balms and stress balls. These materials listed are the most commonly used materials in our products.
